About Me
Hello, I’m Kim, lovely to meet you.
If you’ve poured your heart into your business, the long days, the ideas, the passion behind every detail you know how much your work means to people. But sometimes it’s hard to capture that through photos.
You want images that feel like you warm, authentic, and genuine. That’s where I come in.
I photograph places, objects, atmosphere and stories with and without faces based in Springfield Mill in Denby Dale, Huddersfield, working with independent businesses across West Yorkshire and beyond.
My goal is to help you show up with photography that tells your story, real and authentically beautiful.
My Approach
Whether we’re photographing your products, your space, or the people behind your business, my approach is relaxed and collaborative.
Some clients want faces front and centre. Others want their atmosphere to speak first. There’s no pressure to perform.
I’ll guide you gently where needed, create space where it matters, and capture the moments and details that tell your story naturally.
The result?
Images that feel effortless but intentional. Professional but never forced. Beautiful but always honest.
Sustainability & Giving Back
Sustainability is an important part of how I work. By photographing products remotely in my studio, I help brands reduce travel, energy use, and production waste all while maintaining high-quality results.
For every session booked, I donate £10.00 to Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, supporting local habitats and wildlife conservation across West Yorkshire.
It’s a small but meaningful way my business gives back to the communities and landscapes that inspire my creativity.
My Story
I’ve always been drawn to the little things, the way the light falls across a surface, textures and the quiet moments that make a subject feel alive.
I studied Photography at university back in 2010 and spent over a decade photographing families before life took me in a different direction, I became a Mum for the first time and changed careers.
My time in adult social care taught me a lot about people, empathy, connection, and the beauty of authenticity.
Life then decided to throw me a massive curveball.
It made me stop immediately, to really reflect and realise that I missed being creative and how it helped me in so many ways.
Picking up my camera again felt like I was coming home
A reminder that photography isn’t just about beautiful images, it’s about connection.
That belief sits at the heart of everything I do.
Photography that feels honest and human.
When I’m Not Behind the Camera
You’ll usually find me juggling a chaotic family life, walking the dog, or catching up with friends over coffee (and probably cake too).
If you want imagery that feels like your business not staged, not forced, just honest. I would love to help.
Whether it’s the objects that hold meaning, the people behind the work, or the space you’ve built with care, we’ll capture it in a way that feels natural and true.
Let’s create photographs that don’t just show what you do, but let people feel it.
